Squandits
Squandits is a cooperative squirrel heist game for 1-4 players. Use your natural stealth, your friends and some gadgets to steal acorns without getting caught! It's a short game of 12 single-screen levels for you to play with for a bit.
Levels are scored based on how many squirrels died. Lower scores are better. High scores are normal.
Squandits supports your keyboard and nearly all USB/Bluetooth controllers. Just connect them and press start/menu/options/+/that tiny button on the right to join!
Please note that controller support is worse in the WebGL version than in the downloadables: less controllers are supported and button icons will be less accurate. Chromium-based browsers appear to support the most controllers, though!
There is a "reset" option in the pause menu that lets you restart the level if your items or cats get moved in a way that gets you stuck. I've designed things so you should be able to blunder through regardless, but this option's there just in case! It does not reset your score.

wish you could do this on one browser
It should work fine in browser! Controller support unfortunately varies quite a bit between browsers, and many browsers will just report any controller as "Windows PC", resulting in always-XBox controller prompts.
Chromium-based works best on desktop and I've even tested the game successfully on iOS, but you need a controller connected to your phone for mobile browser support... or a keyboard, I guess. The "WebGL not supported on mobile" overlay is from itch.io, as far as I can tell.
Oh sorry thats not what i meant! Lol i was talking about having 2 player using the wasd and the arrow keys on the same laptop! Sorry for the confusion.
After 1004 deaths we finally saved the world....It was tiring and frustrating but fun all the way. I am a big fan of the 100 of jumpads level. What a brilliant idea. Hell yea gamer! More of this please! In case some of you are struggling out there:
Try to get the cats to the spawn area. It works and they get stuck. Do it with 3 or 2 and getting across should be easy.
Seriously tho, we had lots of fun!
Thanks for making this!
1004! Your dedication is impressive and appreciated. Thanks for playing! And thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the game.
A running jump with just the right timing *should* let you clear all of those bouncing cats, but it's a tricky one.
There's a "reset" option in the pause menu just in case cats or items get moved in a way that make you really stuck. It doesn't reset your score. I've tried to make it so all levels can still be blundered through without that, but I'll edit the description to mention it!
the reset did help in some levels but our tactic was the funniest bit. Most frustratin yes, but most rewarding as well....and the death count is high just because of that one level. Since player 3 spawns right where the cats get stuck.
